A Suggestion for the Leaders
We've heard from a few people that the lessons in week 3 of the workbook are quite long. We are suggesting that you direct the leaders of the groups in your city to consider using 2 weeks to complete this chapter.

Learning Curves
As we approach week 3 of the study, and our fourth week meeting together, we have seen a grace from God that is leading us in to exactly how to "do" this study. It can be so easy to fill in the blanks, and rush through prayer, and have your checks marked off, but then our time together becomes exactly one of those "good activities" that we're reading about. I think it's important to remember this study will require more.
The good thing is there is a gracious learning curve. In humility let us submit to being stirred. Lord, lead us into a wholistic approach of the study that we might fully be awakened and Your purposes fulfilled in the Nations!

Awakening in the State of Florida
We are much encouraged in the state of Florida. Following a live stream of the National Awakening Summit at the Orlando House of Prayer, and a delayed stream of the Summit in the Tampa Bay area - we are now seeing "Awakening Small Groups" beginning to form in many areas of Orlando and Tampa who are going through the Awakening The Church workbook together. At least one other Florida city is now interested in doing a delayed viewing of the Awakening Summit.
Key pastors & lay leaders in the area are now looking to host "Weekend Awakening Summits" in order to expose their entire congregations (& others from their area of the city) to the highlights from the Summit. Highly encourage this approach in other cities/states as it will help bring this vital message to many more.
We are seeking to use these Weekend Summits to be a springboard to begin new Awakening Small Groups - then the Awakening Small Groups to be a springboard to establish long-term prayer furnaces (prayer altars) in all parts of the city.
In time, we are impressed to establish radical intercession/obedience in every heart, in every home, in every congregation, in every neighborhood, and in every facet of society (in every business, in every governmental office, in every school...) God has begun this process by establishing weekly community prayer altars in various points around the city.
Join us in praying that our God will go before us as we seek to take this out even further across the state. If you or someone you know may be interested in hosting a delayed Video Conference of the Awakening Summit let us know.

Prayer
I like a good prayer bath, so I'll just let all the readers here know that our group is meeting in Cleveland, on Thursday nights @ 6:30pm EST. So far our group has had the initial meeting, with 3 different church fellowships, and 3 generations having a representative! We will meet again tomorrow. Please keep that time in your prayers!
We know that God is on the move and He really is pushing back the darkness of our city as we go deeper in His purposes and in prayer. Please join me in praying against backlash, as we've already seen some since the summit and our first workbook meeting. I know we are not alone in this battle! I can't wait to stand with you in prayer for your groups too!
